About Railroad Springs
Railroad Springs is a community of manufactured homes and provides some of the most affordable real estate on the west side of town. A few townhomes are located near the entry. This community includes green space, paths, a basketball court, central park and additional common space amenities. It is conveniently located—a short drive/bike ride to Historic Downtown Flagstaff, and 2 miles from NAU with a bus stop just down the road from the neighborhood.
Location
As the crow flies, Railroad Springs is within two miles of both Northern Arizona University and downtown Flagstaff. It is located on the west side of town, and the entrance is on Historic Route 66. It borders Coconino National Forest on the north.
Trails
Railroad Springs contain urban trails, as well as a half-mile dirt trail in the community itself.
It is also a start/end-point for the 2.4-mile Tunnel Springs trail, which goes north into Coconino National Forest.
