• Walnut Canyon National Monument - Cliff dwellings of the Sinagua Indians, built in alcoves in the sandstone walls of a deep, wooded canyon near Flagstaff. Located about 10 mi (16 km) southeast of downtown Flagstaff, Arizona, near Interstate 40.
• Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course - Adventure Course has (7) different courses and they train you first on the Demo course. Very professional place, and all about safety. The second course is Adventure zip lines, which was closed and being checked by the professionals. They also have a Kids Course too.
• Buffalo Park - Perfect walk to enjoy the outdoors, fresh air and close mountain views. Many Trails for all ages and even dogs. Plus the beautiful views of the San Francisco Peaks.

Restaurants

Nearby restaurants include The Northern Pines, it's very conveniently located at the intersection of the I-17 and I-40. Another one is Black Barts Steakhouse, absolutely fabulous food! Best steak, salmon, homemade biscuits, pumpkin and sweet potato tart that makes your mouth water, and wonderful entertainment in an old west saloon environment. Another great place for drinks, dinner, and anything in between is at Agave Mexican Restaurant located on Historic Route 66 just east of downtown Flagstaff. 

Schools

Some of the best schools in Flagstaff is located near this community. Among them are Sturgeon Cromer Elementary School (K-5), Mount Elden Middle (6-8), and Coconino High School (9-12).
