Elephant Rocks Golf Course - In the shadow of Bill Williams Mountain, Elephant Rocks at Williams is the perfect escape from the summer heat of the Valley. Nestled at 7000 feet above sea level, the course meanders its way through stands of large Ponderosa pines. There has been a course here since the 1920s but it was not until 1990 when the course was reconfigured by Gary Panks, that its reputation grew.

Bearizona Wildlife Park -Bearizona is approximately 160 acres. Visitors will drive through more than three miles of Ponderosa Pine Forest viewing North American animals in natural habitats when they visit. More animals are exhibited in Fort Bearizona, a beautiful 20-acre walk-thru area, along winding paths which is more of a "zoo" type setting. 

Grand Canyon Railway - Since 1901, the Grand Canyon Railway has been taking people on a fabled journey into the heart of one of the seven natural wonders of the world. For those fortunate to have traveled on this iconic train, the Grand Canyon Railway is more than just a mode of transportation: it’s a trip back in time to what many consider the most awe-inspiring place on Earth.

Kaibab National Forest - Williams is surrounded by 550,000 acres of the Williams Ranger District of Kaibab National Forest (fs.usda.gov). Visitors find hiking trails, such as the Beal Wagon Road Trail that follows the route of an old wagon trail, along with opportunities to fish, camp and ride horses or bicycles.

If you're in the Williams area and want to nice steak Western View Steakhouse is a must try. Red Raven Restaurant is another great place to eat on Route 66. If you're driving through town on the way west and looking for a place for breakfast, Pine Country Restaurant is the perfect place.
