Some of the best shops and events you need to know about in Flagstaff.

If you’re like me, you’re always looking for a new place to visit in Flagstaff, especially around the holidays. That’s why today, I’m taking you through some great local spots in our town and sharing a few fun holiday events for you and your family. Let’s get into it!

First, I have to talk about Heritage Square. This is the heart of downtown Flagstaff, and there are so many great shops here that it’s hard to keep track. For example, MIX is an amazing coffee shop, while Flagstaff Chocolates and Black Hound Gallery could be destinations for Christmas shoppers looking to give a little local touch.

Next, you need to know about the Winter Wonderland and Tree Lighting event that will take place in Heritage Square on December 7 starting at 2:30 p.m. This event is free, family friendly, and tons of fun!

"Our town is full of wonderful holiday things to do for the whole family.

If you’re looking for a fun place to take the kids, check out the Breakfast with Santa event at the Weatherford Hotel, also on December 7, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. There will be an incredible breakfast buffet and a visit from the jolly old man himself, so don’t miss out!

While we’re already in the middle of December, it’s not too late to get in on the Window Decorating Contest, which takes place throughout the month in downtown Flagstaff. Different businesses will decorate their windows, and we get to vote on which one is the best!

Next, you should check out Warner’s Nursery this holiday season. They have the usual selection of great coffee and wonderful gifts, but this time of year, it’s all holiday themed. Nearby, you can even stop at Diablo Burger for lunch, which we definitely didn’t pass up.

Hopefully, this just puts into perspective how many wonderful things there are to do in Flagstaff. As always, you can call or email me with any questions about real estate, Flagstaff, or whatever else. I look forward to hearing from you!
