Flagstaff Home Sales Highest in 10 Years!
Fall is around the corner and the Flagstaff real estate market shows no sign of slowing down. Flagstaff July housing sales and prices both post double digit gains. Housing sales volume jumped 32% to 135 which is the highest for any month since August 2005 -that's going back 10 years! The median sale price for a house sold in the greater Flagstaff region in July was $337K up 14% from a year ago. This represents the highest monthly median sale price since August of 2008 and 12 straight months above $300K.
Flagstaff Housing Inventory
We are nearing the end of our buying season and inventory levels have remained about the same as last month. Currently there is about a 5 month supply of houses for sale under the $337K figure and still over a year’s worth above that figure. Mortgage rates are down 1/4th of a point from last month, now at 3.625.
