PLACE provided the tools, support, and structure I needed to build a real estate team with long-term value. Here’s how you can do it too.

 

In 2023, I was working harder than ever. Early in the year, my son, my daughter, and her husband were helping me manage the high volume of business I was handling. But things changed quickly. My son purchased a business, and my daughter moved away. I was left to manage everything on my own. That year, I closed over 70 transactions, representing around $60 million in volume.

 

It eventually reached a point where I was working non-stop. I didn’t have time for a personal life, and I was overwhelmed by the volume of leads I couldn’t properly manage. It felt like leads were slipping away because I didn’t have the help I needed to keep up.

 

That’s when I was approached by a company called PLACE, which helps real estate professionals build and grow teams. To qualify, I had to meet a certain level of gross commission income, which I did. After spending time learning about what the company offered, I decided to move forward. It was a major investment of both time and money, but I believed in the value they provided.

Building a team. In May 2024, I officially joined and began building my team. It was difficult in the beginning and still is, but we’re getting close to having the right systems and support in place. One of the best parts has been the opportunity to collaborate with top teams across the country. These partnerships include agents from the U.S., Canada, and other regions, regardless of brokerage.

 

This model also gives me room to grow. I can expand into other states and support agents outside my local area. If someone in another state wants to follow the same path, I can sponsor them and help them grow their own business. It’s a shared effort that allows everyone to succeed without taking away from each other’s income.
