Rare 10-Acre Off-Grid Lot Bordered by the National Forest on Two Sides, with Amazing Flagstaff Views!
$425,000
Offered for the first time is a gorgeous, picturesque off-grid 10-acre parcel of native grassland situated at the southeast end of Indian Flats. It is located in the middle of Hunting Unit 7 east, and frequented by elk, deer, antelope and numerous other wildlife.
Indian Flats is truly a rare find these days. It is a beautiful, remote 250+ acre island of private land surrounded on all sides by the National Forest and nestled in the middle of a series of low mountains with a direct, unimpeded view of the San Francisco peaks to the south. On a clear night this property boasts incomparable views of the Milky Way and starry skies.
Being on the north side of the Peaks, Indian Flats receives less snow than Flagstaff in spite of the fact that it is higher in altitude at approximately 7200 feet! The parcel for sale is bordered on two sides by National Forest which extends for miles in all directions making this property an ideal location for those that enjoy horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, hunting, star gazing as well as numerous other outdoor activities.
Whether you're looking to build your dream home in the country or seeking a retreat to escape the increasing dangers of urban life, this property will appeal to you. It has rich, deep soil and 360-degree views. Due to the rugged nature of the forest service road and the, at times difficult, access in the winter, this is not a property for the faint hearted. Bring your sense of adventure and a four-wheel drive vehicle with good clearance and good tires if you plan on experiencing this unique property.
